Several CRM members enjoyed a brilliant lecture by Dave Brailsford CBE at the Bangor University Lecture Theatre on 9 November, 2009. Club Chairman Dave Hughes, and a few others who started Clwb Rasio Mona around 1986, remembers Dave Brailsford from the even earlier days of the Snowdonia Cycling Club.
In a recent conversation with Dave Hughes, Brailsford had showed an interest in becoming a member of a cycling club near the area he was brought up in. Consequently, at the end of the evening, Dave Hughes invited Brailsford to become a Life Member of Clwb Rasio Mona. This was accepted, and we are all extremely happy to welcome Dave Brailsford to our Club.
